What Do You Call Five Comedians Ready To Kick Some Task? Taskmaster Australia!
Season Five Premieres Thursday, May 7 At 7.30pm On 10.In a competition where simple tasks rarely stay that way, Taskmaster Australia returns for its fifth season with a brand-new lineup of comedians ready to take on the absurd and embrace the ridiculous.
Returning to his throne (and loving every second of it), is the all-powerful Taskmaster Tom Gleeson. Joined by his ever-loyal, occasionally helpful assistant Tom Cashman, the pair are ready to unleash a fresh round of absurd, baffling and downright ridiculous challenges on a brand-new batch of brave comedians.
This season’s brave (or foolish?) comedians ready to join the Taskmaster Australia alumni are none other than Rove McManus, Celia Pacquola, Anisa Nandaula, Brett Blake and Joel Creasey.
These five comedians will be put to the ultimate test as they’re faced with an array of tasks ranging from the seemingly simple to the mind-bendingly bonkers. And, we’ll be there to laugh at them every step of the way. Er, we mean laugh with them!
In the end, only one can be the winner and hold the golden trophy of the Taskmaster’s huge head above their own, basking in the glory of completing a series of meaningless tasks all for our enjoyment.
So, get ready to laugh at them (and occasionally with them), as Taskmaster Australia returns for another season of pure nonsense!
Five seasons in, you know the drill. And there’s a trailer:

Bringing You The Stories That Matter.
The Cheap Seats Is Back, Tuesday 21 April On 10.In these unprecedented times, it’s important to turn to trusted voices to bring you the stories that really matter. For everything else, there’s The Cheap Seats!
Back for a sixth season, hosts Melanie Bracewell and Tim McDonald have been scouring the news to bring you the world’s most unmissable, unbelievable, and unhinged updates.
Not every story needs a hard-hitting headline. Sometimes you just need to know what’s unfolding on the Archipelago of Love Islands – and that’s where Cultural Correspondent Mel Tracina steps in.
In the past year, The Cheap Seats has delivered standout moments including an exclusive interview with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, beatboxing brilliance from Reggie Watts, and an unforgettable on‑air slap from Lynne McGranger. The show even hit the road for The Cheap Seats’very first World Tour* (*one city, one night only).
In 2026, expect even more special guests, celebrity cameos and red carpet reports. Where are the best seats in the house? Right here on 10.
Six seasons! And still the funniest show on Australian TV, who would have thought. Trailer time:

Intervention n. A compassionate meeting where family and friends confront a loved one about a serious problem or other self-destructive behaviours and urge them to seek help.
Glenn & Mick’s Celebrity Intervention is a brand‑new primetime comedy series that gleefully flips the concept of a serious intervention on its head – and it’s coming soon to Seven and 7plus.
Hosted by comedy heavyweights Glenn Robbins and Mick Molloy, each episode sees a well‑known celebrity summoned to face the music as their loved ones, peers and a few surprise guests gather to confront them about their “issues”.
Armed with razor-sharp wit, cheeky banter and a rich archive of clips, photos and stories, Glenn and Mick preside over a mock-serious intervention that lovingly exposes the wonderfully trivial, absurd and deeply unserious quirks that make each star who they are.
The result is chaotic, affectionate and delightfully revealing: the intervention no celebrity asked for, but one every viewer will want to witness.
Filmedin front of a live studio audience, Glenn & Mick’s Celebrity Intervention is produced by Molloy Boy Productions for the Seven Network.
This one starts April 20 and lets hope it comes out of the gates strong. What’s that? Another trailer?

And while nobody’s slung the press release our way as yet, Have You Been Paying Attention? is back for 2026 on May 4. Here’s our first ever review of it, in which we express both praise and a sadly typical lack of confidence in its future. For once, betting on doom and gloom didn’t pay off!
